In this 9-module transformational intensive, Russ and Jessica will guide you through the foundations of the Enneagram and prepare you to start consciously creating an Enneagram-informed life to come into harmony with self and others.

This course will feature teachings, training sessions, and experiential practices with Russ and Jessica. During this opening module you’ll:

In this module, Russ and Jessica will explain how the basic terms fit in the schema of development. They will be providing pristine and focused explanations and definitions of key terms and concepts, such as core suffering, passion, shadow, fixation, essence, virtues, and holy ideas.

As Russ points out, for precise understanding, a precise language is needed.

During this module you’ll:

• Discover the ancient origins of the Enneagram
• Learn the key concepts and keys even, as Hameed Ali would call them, that unlock this timeless knowledge
• Explore the symbol as representing the union of what Gurdjieff called three laws, the Law of One, the Law of Three, the Law of Seven

In this module, you’ll be introduced to the idea of the centers — the intelligence of the body, of the heart, and of the mind — and how these apparently different aspects of our nature get integrated into a coherent and conscious whole.

Russ and Jessica will be guiding you to experience the 3 forms of human intelligence through body-based kinesthetic intelligence, heart-based emotional intelligence, and head-based cognitive intelligence. You’ll also delve into how Points Eight, Nine and One illuminate that intelligence for us.

In this module, you will be getting intimate with the heart, as the center that leads to true alchemy and transformation. You’ll begin to truly understand that with the blossoming of the heart, you begin to love the world as the Divine loves it.

You’ll discover how the heart empowers you with the capacity to respond instead of to react. Russ and Jessica share how there is great peace to be found in the ability to respond to life and to our inner experience versus reacting to it positively or negatively.

During this module you’ll:

• Learn about the transformative power and intelligence of the heart center
• Discover the value of the heart in each of the points
• Gain insight on The Two and connection with others
• Become aware that you are a treasure with the Three
• Relate with the depth and beauty of immersion with essence in the Four

In this module, you will learn that the activation of the head center is not merely coming to quiet and stillness. According to Russ, that’s the beginning, but it isn’t the ultimate destination. When the mind quiets down, the head center becomes an invisible antenna. It starts to pick up the quieter signals of wisdom. Creativity turns on. Brilliance turns on.

Through Russ and Jessica’s teachings, you’ll fall into the awareness and ability to hold greater and greater complexity, as we face the rising problems that we have in this world, and even just in our own personal lives.

During this module you’ll:

• Explore the main aspects of consciousness for different points
• Build the capacity to discern what’s real and what isn’t, what’s true and what isn’t, through point Five
• Learn how to move forward in life, and how to make decisions through the stillness and the brightness of the mind of point Six

In this module, Jessica and Russ will share their deep wisdom about the passions and the fixations. They’ll also be delving into the concepts of balance, imbalance, dominance, and distortion of the centers.

You’ll be exploring the levels of development, which are a measure of our capacity to be present. The higher the level, the more present we are, ergo the more free from our fixated patterns… and as we go down the levels, we become more ruled by the passion and thus more fixated in our thinking.

During this module you’ll:

• Learn about Enneagram work of Don Richard Riso and Personality Types
• Gain an understanding of the difference between personality and essence
• Explore the Hornevian triads by delving into Karen Horney’s three theories of psychology… neurotic solutions, moving against people, moving toward people and moving away from people
• See and understand how to improve your relationships, including with self
• Become aware of the fixations of the ego self
• Explore the unique combination of the centers, the types, and the triads
• Open to all 9 qualities within you, to meet each moment of life — easy or challenging, loss or gain, pain or pleasure — with wisdom, love, presence, and emergent creativity

In this module Russ and Jessica discuss the inner lines of the Enneagram and what they mean. While these elements of the Enneagram are often discussed, their particular function and importance is not always well understood.

You’ll also be learning about each of the harmonic types as laid out by Don Richard Riso. For example, if you rang Nine like a bell, then Seven and Two would light up. This teaching helps reveal how we handle challenges and conflicts in our relationships.

During this module you’ll:

• Become aware that emotional reactions are tied to the ways we need to see ourselves
• Gain insight on the positive outlook group: Points Nine, Two, and Seven
• Understand where the emotional realism group – Points Four, Six, and Eight – are coming from
• Appreciate the value of the problem-solving group: Point One, Three and Five
• Learning about the ego and the shadow through the missing pieces – related to the concept of the holy ideas

In this module Russ and Jessica talk about all the inner line movements… the inner lines do not go up or down. They’re lateral. The levels are a measure of how present we are or how identified with our personality patterns. That’s the vertical. All of the lines are compensations.

They will also teach you how to dissolve patterns of the ego (that are fundamentally defensive and reactive) without rejecting any part of yourself, so you can live in your most authentic, essential nature.

During this module you’ll:

• Explore the movement of the inner lines
• Become aware of your stress directions and survival compensations
• Learn about Integration directions and security points
• How to stop wrestling with the shadow in order to organically allow the higher side of your type to manifest
• Start moving from the false self to the true self

In this wrap-up module you will be provided a body of practices you can use daily to stay present and on your path of spiritual evolution.

Jessica will be introducing the concept of The Fourth Way. This is a path to awakened consciousness, using the “householder” approach to inner work in ordinary life. The good news here is that you do not need to retreat from the world to attain higher levels of consciousness and enlightenment.
